Before and After

I took some shots of my daughter in our back yard and I thought I would share the results here. The pictures needed some adjusting in photoshop so the first one is straight out of the camera. The second picture has adjustments made to the saturation, contrast & lighting, I fixed the dark circles under her eyes, lightened the upper lip, removed a mole and cleaned up her eybrow a little.

For this shot I did the same as above but then removed color to creat a black and white. I also burned the edges a bit.

this is just great karina! i have been loving photography lately as i have realized i can take a pretty decent shot and have also learned some editing in photoshop. i absolutely have been inspired by some cool blogs and photographers websites. in fact i have looked at all of the ones you have on your blog too! i have a few on my blog too that i highly recommend taking a look at. it really is so much fun with all the different ways you can play with a photo. my big boys aren't always cooperative and are off playing anyway. isaac is pretty good to experiment with and lately austin just mostly runs away from me. plus with me being sick and tired i am not getting much practice in lately. good job though on starting the blog and putting yourself out there! i will definitely be watching you! ;)

p.s.

i love how you enhanced the picture of taylor! she is DARLING anyway, but it is so fun how editing makes everything look just the way you want it.

oh, someone just told me recently to check out photography.com. you have to sign up but i guess it has forums and chats and tons of great info.

we need to get together and chat sometime!

okay i am leaving you alone! hehe.

These look great. I wish I knew how to better utilize my camera. It is WAY over-kill for the actual point and shoot that I actually do with it. Did you take a class? I found my manual to not be that helpful. I would love to figure out how to avoid using my flash.

These are great pictures. These are the kind of pictures I wouuld love to take of my kids. I will add this blog to my list of "must-see-daily"
