Cute, Cute, Cute

My friend Sarah (who happens to be a great photographer herself) came down to Puyallup today so we could take some pictures of her girls. They were so cute and Sarah dressed them perfect. We've got a ton of winners Sarah! Here's a few...

Ok, I couldn't just pick a few!
I think photobucket is messing with my pictures because they look really dark and dull now that I've uploaded them. Hmmm...

My Lu is 6 months old!

My sweet baby Tallula had her half birthday last week. I finally got around to getting her in the studio. You would think that I'd be taking pictures of my kids every week but alas, that's not the case. It was freezing cold while taking these and she lasted about 10 minutes. I was happy that I got a few keepers.

Vintage...

I was messing around in photoshop and I tried this vintage look. I think it's pretty nifty, just thought I'd share.

One More Senior...

Cute little Marianne was so fun to take pictures of. She caught on really fast and totally got into it. She was also up for anything and that's just the way I like a model to be! This shoot was in down town Kent and holy cow, I need to move there. There are endless options within a sqaure block on 1st avenue. It was just shot after shot after shot of awsomeness (is that a word?). Someone asked me the other day what my favorite thing to take pictures of was and I would have to say seniors. They are just totally up for anything fun and creative and they tend to let loose and get into it.

I think this is my favorite picture from the shoot...

PHS Class Reunion

I was asked last minute to shoot the Puyallup High School Class Reunion. I think I had 3 days to plan. I enlisted the help of Sue. She has more studio lights than I do and years of experience under her belt. We ended up using 6 lights to do the group shot. It took about an hour to set the shot up. We thought there was going to be between 70 and 90 people. There ended up being over 130. So our well planned set up of the group got a bit messy. Sue's son is also a photographer out in Colorado, I was on the phone with him the day before getting last minute technical advise. He teased me that I took on the worse case senerio for any photographer as my first event shoot, I think he was really expecting us to fail. When Sue told him we pulled it off without a hitch, I think he was a little surprised. It's not the greatest shot technically but at least everyone is lit fairly evenly. It was pitch black outside and freezing cold.

After the group picture, we set up inside for individual pictures. Here's a couple.

Being the photoshop dork that I am, I couldn't stop there. I cropped a few and made some headshots just for the fun of it. I added a little glamblur and touched them up a bit. There was no purpuse to it except that I love to create photos. Here they are for you viewing pleasure!

Ya, I know, they're freaken gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I didn't look like this at my 10 year class reunion!

Red Head's Galore!

The senior that I shot yesterday with my fried Sue was another redhead. I'm loven all the redheads, they're so fun to shoot. The shoot was out here in Puyallup at a few of my favorite spots.

I'M LIVE!

Ok, the website is up and running. I have much more to add to the galleries but I'll have to get to it as I have time. For now enjoy what's there! I've got three shoots with my photog friend Sue this week so I'll post the results when I have them edited. Man I love this job! I got two bookings from the kids sale this weekend so thats good, hopefully things will keep rolling forward.

Speaking of the sale...It was a lot of work but a ton of fun. There were some other gals there selling their wares all weekend and we had a good time hanging out. I could have bought everything off their tables if I had money coming out my ears, but I don't. So I worked a deal with a few of them. I'm going to take product shots for them in exchange for...well...product! Here is one I did just outside the rec center we were set up at.

The hat and dress were made by Lisa, you can find her at www.maisydaisy.com, the insanely cute little munchkin belongs to Heather. She makes the most ridiculously cute pillowcase dresses. I already have two of them for Lu and she's making me a third and one for Taylor. LOVE them, get em here www.cutiepatootiekidsboutique.com

I was also loven the booties and such by Leslie, check her out at
